Noiseless Patient Spider

Are you ever like the Noiseless Patient Spider?
I am sure everyone feels like the Noiseless Patient Spider sometimes. Sometimes I feel all alone. Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in but I will never feel like I belong somewhere of I don't try. This spider has taught me that when I  don't feel right, and I feel like I don't fit in, I have to make an effort to "launch forth filaments". It is important to just try my best to be adventurous and reach out and be brave.

In the Name of Jesus

What does it mean to do my schoolwork in the name of Jesus?
Doing my schoolwork in the name of Jesus means doing it for him. We should glorify him while we do it. We should also do our best and not give up because he made us to do great things in his name. Even though school work doesn't seen so great, it's still important to him because every detail is.

Jesus teaches us that we need to be respectful. Doing our schoolwork is a way of respecting our teachers because that means we are obeying them.

If we are doing our work in the name of Jesus we have to try to do what he would do. Would Jesus cheat? Of course he wouldn't! We should not plagiarise because we need to be honest. We need to work with all our heart and give it our best effort as it says in Colossians 3:23. If you mess up, it's okay if you have tried your best. Jesus knows we are not perfect (that's why he came to save us). You just have to learn from your mistakes. We also should not worry about God liking us less than others who are better at certain things because we all have our strengths and weaknesses and God loves us equally.

Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for The Lord.
